Task was to establish effective stock control mechanisms following a move to in-house stock management from the original third party arrangement. The development of robust performance analyses, demand planning and stock management tools including the WSSI significantly improved stock management and range planning leading to a 20% reduction in overall stock levels. |

FAITH FOOTWEAR LTD. Interim CEO. This was a 2 year assignment focused on developing a business proposition that would allow Faith to compete in the overcrowded and highly competitive fashion footwear sector. A complete strategic review was carried out which led to a repositioning of the footwear ranges; the introduction of jewellery and accessories; a men's range and new trading formats for the stores and web. We also introduced an Excel based financial planning tool integrated with range planning and replenishment systems which led to greatly improved trading ability. |

DSGI. A 6 month project within major Curry's superstore region to implement a new selling model in conjunction with a radical approach to store layouts aimed at maximising customer transaction value. |

INSTORE PLC. A 15 month assignment which required us to fully evaluate the retail operations; property and construction departments. This resulted in the creation of a new more cost effective and customer focused retail team better able to deliver the new Instore proposition to the customer. Following a complete evaluation of the 320 store property portfolio 50 stores were put forward for modernisition, 20 new store opportunities were identified and a disposal list of 25 loss making stores created. |
